Morning Class 14
I hope you had a good day yesterday and kept busy with your homework menu.  Let me know how you are doing by either clicking the comment button on this page or sending me a message in HWB.
Thank you to those pupils who have sent me their Welsh legends on HWB - I thoroughly enjoyed reading them and if you look at the speech bubbles I have sent you some comments.  If you are still working on your story check out Holly's effort.  You need to click on File and rename to give your work a title.

Your Literacy task today continues with our theme of Welsh legends.  Read 'The King's Secret' and complete these tasks:
* In what ways does the secret become too much for the barber?
* What is meant by 'he kept quiet to keep his head'?
* What was growing at the spot where the barber whispered his secret?
* Who else is carrying this heavy secret?
* How do you think the problem can be resolved?
* Which words in the story show that the secret became an increasing problem?
* Write a letter from King March to the barber reminding him of his next visit and of the consequences of not keeping the secret.  The actual secret should not be mentioned.

Your maths work is a problem solving activity focusing on time.  Complete the problems in J2E and send me through your solutions.  Did you manage to access Google classroom?  I have added an extra piece of work there for you to complete by Friday.  I can see that many of you are practising your numeracy skills on ActiveLearn - well done.  You can also use J2E to keep your multiplication skills sharp.

Enjoy the sunshine and keep in touch.
