Good morning Year 6! 

We're starting a brand new topic this term, and leaving 'Frozen Kingdom' behind. Our next topic is....

What do you know about Mexico already?
What would you like to know about Mexico?

Once you've jotted down some ideas about what you'd like to know about Mexico, you can take a double page spread in your home learning books to create a poster all about the country, using the internet to do your research. Try to include things like history, geography, key facts, famous food and drinks, popular sports, population, what their culture is like as well as anything else you can think of! 

Keeping with the colourful theme with Mexico, try your hand at this Optical Illusion (Op Art) below. Take your time and it could look incredible!

Keep those Corona Virus diaries up to date and make sure you're checking back against the Maths minute over on the right hand side so you're doing a little bit of English and Maths each day, even when the tasks are more creative like they are today. 

Next Monday will be the final day that I'll be uploading tasks for you and then Mrs Gardner will be making sure you're all fully entertained until we're either back to school or you start at Comp. If you've anything you'd like to do over the next few weeks I'm sure Mrs Gardner would love to see your comments.
