Good Morning everyone, I hope you’re all enjoying the weather.
So lots more of you have found Google Classroom now, which is great. What is important is that you are keeping yourselves busy but if you are finding anything too challenging, please let me know as I am not posting lots of levels of the same activity like we would do in class. That also goes for if you are finding it a bit too easy, challenge yourself by doing more or similar activities, this is especially so with the maths.
Today’s tasks…
English
Today is St. George’s Day. Have a look through the PowerPoint and complete some of your own research to create a factfile or mind map about St George. You can do this in your books and photograph it for me or you can do it in word/PowerPoint to upload. It’s entirely up to you.
Maths
We’ll leave fractions behind for a little while now and have a little think today about angles. Remember that angles have different names according to their size. Look through the PowerPoint to refresh your memories. Then complete the activity where you need to identify the different angles within the shapes. If you are not able to print off the activity, in your books or using word, please draw a few examples of each of the different types of angle so that I can see you understand which is which. If you have a protractor at home, you could have a go at measuring some angles. We have only done this once in class though so don’t worry if it’s tricky.
