Welcome back to online learning you lovely people! Hope you had a good Easter and didn’t eat too many eggs. Your brains should now be well rested and ready to start a new term of work. Every day I will be uploading a task for English and Maths except for Friday which will be project day. I would love to see you all to attempt every English and Maths task and send me your work on Google Classroom.
For anyone still not sure how to navigate the Google Classroom, there are several Parent Guide Videos on Youtube. May be worth both parents and children watching. These will enable you to send me your work into the correct place for me to give feedback properly.
This week we are going to revise punctuation in English and the four operations of number in Maths.
Here goes.... nice easy ones to get you started...
English-Think about all the punctuation you know how to use and make a quick list of the names and the reasons you would you them.
Now design a punctuation poster that you could put up in our classroom to explain to your friends how to use each one correctly. Make sure you include some examples of each in a sentence.
Maths- Head over to https://www.themathsfactor.com/times-tables-check/#/
It's Carol Vorderman's maths package which you can join free of charge, but this is a times tables checker. Take the tests and look at the results. They will tell you which tables you are great at and which ones need more work. Then head over to Hit the Button or the TT Rockstar I mentioned before to do some practice.
Retake the tests later and see how much you have improved!
So today I will only need to see your posters in the Google Classroom!
Have a great day everyone and I will check in again later.
