Here are today's tasks.
English- This task will span today and tomorrow as it will be time consuming, especially if you do a great job!
I would like you to research the history of fairground rides. They have been around a long time and have a rich past. Create a timeline that includes information, pictures and if you choose to do a powerpoint presentation, you could include films or sound clips. I would suggest that you do the research and take notes and sketch ideas today and put it all together tomorrow. A paper timeline will be just as good as long as there is plenty of information/pictures included.
Maths- I have found some problem solving activities related to theme parks. They are graded in difficulty so choose some from each section if you can. Make sure you challenge yourself to give the most difficult ones a go! You don't need to print the cards out or even the worksheets themselves. You can just work out the answers in your workbooks.
And.... don't forget to choose another activity from the calendar I published yesterday.
