So from today, all English and Maths tasks will be published only on HWB in the Google Classroom. (its on the drop down menu after you've logged in) This page will now only be used for updates and for fun/wellbeing activities!!!

A long, long time ago when I was your age there were no mobile phones, internet or video/dvd players to keep us entertained and there were only 3 channels on the TV.

My sister and I used to produce shows to entertain our grownups and to make up games and challenges for each other too. One of the things my sister and I used to do on a rainy day was to sit by the window and have 'raindrop races' We chose from the top of the window and tracked them all the way to the bottom. The winner got to choose the next game we played.

I'd like to start the fun by asking you all what you're doing to pass the time (after you've practised your maths, reading and spelling of course). We can build up a bank of activities for us all to share and enjoy. Leave a comment below for us all to enjoy or send me some photos so I can see what you've been up to.

I'll try and post something different everyday.

Take care

Mrs Pinches

I look forward to reading your story. You can write them on the computer or on paper.
Take your time and have a go independently.

Send them to me on hwb, google classroom or by email if you can.

Before I post todays tasks I'd just like to say thanks to all of you that are having a go at every task I set and thanks to all of you that are having a go at some of what I set.

Remember you do not have to do everything at once. Take your time and show your grown ups what you can do by yourselves too.  You all know what you need to practise for me - I nag you often enough!!

Most importantly use your imagination and get yourselves thinking, keep on top of your handwriting and read every day if you can.

Take Care
