As we are using the internet to work on a daily basis, one of today's tasks is to help us think carefully about how to keep safe when working online.
Please read the first version of the Year 2 story Smartie The Penguin on www.childnet.com/resources/smartie-the-penguin and discuss it with a grown up.
Once you have done this choose one of the follow up activities to complete:
1. Create a picture/collage using a range of different materials to represent your favourite character from the story.
2. Make a Smartie the Penguin junk model.
3. Draw a portrait of the adult that you would ask for help if you needed it online.
3. Design a penguin mask/sock puppet/3d model using playdough.
