How many rainbows can you see in your street? Have a go at this Scavenger Hunt.
It's a beautiful day today. When you are in the garden maybe you could enjoy a mini beast hunt. If you want to share some photos, don't forget you can tweet @OgmoreP.
Watch this video on den building in the garden and have a go yourselves! How will you build yours? Will you use some sheets and upturned chairs? Maybe a clothes line and blankets can create the perfect pitch. Fairy lights? Cushions? So many options...so much time! No den is too big or small... Show us what your den looks like on twitter - @OgmoreP Have fun! Why not search for a nice pebble out on your daily exercise and take it home to decorate! You can use your imagination to create different designs and use paint to make it super colourful. Maybe you could write a little message too, like thank you, stay safe, keep smiling, anything to make people happy.
You could leave them somewhere people walking past might see to make them smile! Ask a grown up to write you a list of things to search for on a nature hunt for when you head outside. (your list might include a leaf, a flower, a stick, a stone it's up to you - If your grown up can't write it you could write one for yourself!) *please don't include living things like insects etc on your lists.
You could use the items you collect on your nature hunt to make a picture afterwards or maybe some leaf prints. We would love to see anything you make! Remember to be careful when you are searching, and when you go outside make sure it is with a grown up from your house. All you need is the sun for this one, the sun and a pencil!
(You could use a lamp if the sun is hiding!) Collect your favourite toys from around the house e.g. animals, figures etc. Place them in the sun and find where their shadow is. Put your paper here and then draw around the shadows. You could use chalk and the ground instead of paper if you are allowed! When you have finished, colour in your shadow characters! Have fun! Pick any subject like girls names, boys names, animals or even chocolate bars.
Write the alphabet going down the page on a piece of paper. Write down one thing for each letter of the alphabet. e.g. boys names could be Archie Ben Chris David You could see who can do it fastest, or see how many you can get within a time limit. Maybe you could make it trickier by only getting a point if nobody else gets the same answer! It's up to you. Everyone can take part, have fun! Good morning everyone, we hope you've had a lovely long Bank Holiday weekend and had lots of fun!
