Today's activity is to set up your own shop at home and serve your customers! It is up to you what type of shop you decide to set up. It could be a food shop, a toy shop, a clothes shops or a fruit and veg shop, use your imagination!
Here is a list of some things you may need:
* A sign for your shop
* Posters with special offers
* A price list for your items
* Price tags for all the items you are selling
* Some coins 1p - £2. if you haven't got many you could make some of your own by drawing the cons you need on card and cutting the out.
* Paper for receipts
When making your signs think carefully about spelling words correctly and what needs to be included on a poster for it to be a good poster.
Remember to use your number bonds/doubling/near doubles etc to help you add when your customers buy more than one item. Make sure you give the correct change to your customers.
Once you have completed your task please log in to google classroom and 'hand in' the work on the assignment tab and upload any photographs you have taken. Enjoy being a shop keeper for the day and have fun. I look forward to seeing all your amazing shops!!
