Morning Boys, Girls and Parents.
This term our topic was ‘Will you read me a story’ so I thought you can conclude this with your children at home as these are the stories that parents and carers know really well.
Today's story is ‘The Three Little Pigs’. If you have or can download a QR reader then your children will be able to have a story read to them by myself. Please scroll to the bottom of the page for the code. I also have provided a YouTube link for an animated cartooon(https://youtu.be/HtHjB6rRmQc )and song(https://youtu.be/WR4L_t6IAfc). Please copy these into your search engine.
If you'd like more resources to keep your child busy, visit Twinkl online. They produce high quality resources which are wider used in school. At the moment, they're offering free access to parents. Use the code: PARENTSTWINKLHELPS at www.twinkl.co.uk/offer
Alternatively Pinterest is a great tool for thinking outside of the box. I know I use this app for creating and adapting limited resources. You will find Maths and Literacy ideas relating to this story for all abilities.
Don't forget to log into ‘active learn’ where I have books allocated for your child. I am able to see when these books have been completed.
Here are a few sites that I think might be useful:
Topmarks (free)
Literacy shed (free)
Active learn ( child’s password has been sent home)
Hwb ( child’s password has been sent home)
Pinterest ( search topic free )
Youtube
Bbc bitesize
Also I often search other schools websites to see if they offer ideas to websites that I haven’t heard of. Alternately scroll through our schools different classes. That's where I got the useful Twinkl information. Thanks you Mr Whaley and Mrs Hobbs!
Please leave a comment to ask questions and to keep in touch.

Sorry this is so big, I'm sure I'll get better at this as time goes on, hahah
