Fridays' come around again so it's craft time. Raid that recycling bag and find junk to make a junk model bus. Below I've added a clip to get you inspired!
Game 1: Look at images of buses either in books or from an online source. Are they all the same? This weeks story the bus was red and had two levels. Can you say what is different about the buses that you find?
Game 2: Make a bus picture: Use shapes made from gummed paper or pre-made paper shapes. Look carefully at what shapes you need to make up your bus. How may levels will your bus have? How about including some passengers and lots of windows.
Game 3: Draw a picture of what you want your bus to look like and make a list of what materials you will use. (look in your recycling bag) Gather your materials and build your bus. Decorate your bus adding detail, such as windows and passengers. Below I've added a some examples.
