Wow! This week is flying by! It's lovely to see all your lovely hard work on Google Classroom! I've had a chance to speak to some of you on the phone this week and I'll be phoning around again today and the beginning of next week to see how you're all doing.
Literacy
To link objects with letter sounds
n is for nurse
Today I'd like to recap on the letter sounds that we learnt before we had to close - s a t p i and n. Your child could make a collection of objects for each letter sound and could even have a go at writing the sound. You can also help them identify initial sounds when they are playing- s is for sand, a is apple, p is for paint.
Numeracy
To read and write numbers to 5
Today I'd like you to have a go at writing numbers. You can just have a go at number 1 if you like or you can go up to 10! Remember to use the number cards with the rhymes on to help you. You can do this with pencils and crayons or with paint, with chalk, in the sand, in the mud, in gloop or in shaving foam. The messier the better!
