Hello everyone and welcome back to Class 6! We hope you have had a wonderful Christmas and have enjoyed spending time with your family and playing with your new toys? Comment below to let us know what your favourite Christmas gift was, we'd really love to hear what you had.
This is not the way we imagined spending our first day of the Spring Term but hopefully it won't be long and it will be safe again for us to be back together learning and having fun in school. In the meantime we would like you to access Active Learn everyday and read 1 book using Bug Club and also answer the comprehension questions. We would also like you to play some of the maths games that have been assigned to you on there as we know how much you enjoy these.
In addition to the above there will also be a task posted on here for you to complete. Today is the start of our new topic, let's see if you can guess what it is by reading the following clues:
Yes............................................you've guessed it, we'll be learning all about

- The title of our topic is - To Infinity and Beyond!
- It is completely silent here!
- You would need special clothing and a special mode of transport to visit here!
Yes............................................you've guessed it, we'll be learning all about
To begin this topic we would like you to complete the attached KWL grid about space. We would like to find out what you already know about space and what kind of things you'd like to find out about during this topic. There's no need to complete the last question (what I have learnt)as we will do this at the end of our topic. After you have completed the 2 questions we would also like you to create a picture of what the word `space` represents to you, you may use colouring pencils, felt pens, chalks, paints or anything else you have available at home. We look forward to finding out what you already know about space and seeing your space pictures. Have fun and please share your work with us via email (our emails are on the right hand side of this page) or you can attach it in Google Classroom!
**Also no need to worry if you haven't got a printer at home please just draw the KWL grid in a book or on a piece of paper.
