Good morning, here are today's home learning activities
1 - Literacy. Use the draw and describe a monster presentation to work through and design your own monster. By the end of the presentation you will have a drawing of your own monster and will have written some interesting stretchy sentences about it. Make sure your sentences are high five, and include describing words (adjectives) Also try using some connective words: but, because, so, when, then etc.
2. Maths - Odd and even numbers. Sort the odd and even numbers. Remember that the units or ones digit is what you need to help you figure it out. This activity has three different abilities if you log onto Google classroom, you can choose the most appropriate for your child. There is powerpoint to work through with questions to answer at the end to better help you understand odd and even numbers.
Fun Activity - Make your own monster out of junk modelling and things that you find about the house. I have added some instructions on google classroom, if you need some inspiration. You could then write a set of instructions of your own for someone else to make your monster.
ALSO Please go onto active learn and read your reading books that have been set this half term. If you have already accessed them they will be in your library.
