Home Learning for Tuesday 20th October

20/10/2020

Good Morning all,
I hope you are all well. Sadly some of us had to leave school a little early yesterday. I will be posting home learning at 7.30am for the three days that we had left in school this week, for those children who are isolating at home. I will post the tasks both on this page and on google classroom on hwb. If you could log into your child's hwb account, you can access the work and also have access to lots of support materials that I cannot post on here. You can also take a photograph of their work and hand it in to me, by uploading it.
Miss Marchant

Home learning tasks for today
1 - Literacy.  Make a mind map to show your thoughts about a new monster to join the Addams Family. Think about: What could/do monsters look like, what could/do they like/dislike, where could/do they live etc.
2 - Maths. We have been working on our understanding of numbers and their value over the past couple of weeks. Your challenge today is to answer the questions to fill in the grid.
3 - Fun task. We were going to make some Spider cakes in school this week. You will develop your reading skills, your measuring skills, and the ability to follow instructions correctly all in a fun way, so have a go at making some Spider crispy cakes by following the recipe attached.
