We took part in a number of Bush Tucker Trials! We hunted in the bush for stars, completed a tricky obstacle course and caught apples from the tree! We had fun during the feely box challenge and were particularly brave during the final eating challenge!!! This week, Class 5 have started learning all about Australia.
We had a go at creating our own Aboriginal designs.
Thank you Tanni for the message of support for our school.
This week we've been getting creative! We have created our own seaside paintings in the style of artist Helen Elliott. This week we took part in a literary pop festival where Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler talked about their books and told stories and sang songs. We have been learning about fractions - halves and quarters in Maths, plastic pollution in our oceans and have made some fab-ulous cards!
We spent time on the Junior Climbing Frame for our FunDay Friday treat! This week we have enjoyed role playing in our new beach shop/cafe,
we have learnt to take away crossing ten and have loved listening to our new story, Tiddler! Arghhhhh, what an awesome Pirate Day we had. We fired water cannons, climbed the rigging, followed a treasure map left by Captain Orange Beard and enjoyed our Pirate party food! Sign up to the UK's Biggest Nature Challenge!
With lots of ideas for things to do in nature throughout June, this would be great to keep everyone busy now that we are allowed out! And fab to encourage a love of nature too! Follow this link to sign up: 30 Days Wild 2021 - Sign up for your pack | The Wildlife Trusts |
