Let's count with Jack Hartman
In class we love a good sing and exercise while we count in 1's, 2's, 5's and 10's with Jack Hartman. Please join in with your child. There are also some interactive links below to fun maths games.

For those children who are ready to hear sounds and to build words, I've added a resource where your child can make the word in dough or magnetic letters and trace. It practices the sounds that we have been learning at home and in school.

Find Forky
Keeping active is important for you and your child's mental wellbeing. A great game for keeping busy is a good old fashioned game of hide and seek! This game has been taken from the NHS website. Copy the link to find out the rules on how to play.

Following on from yesterdays activity where you asked your child to name what items were made from, today I'd like you to add items to a feely bag ( I often use a pillow case) Place items of the same material e.g. plastic, wood etc and ask them to name the object and recap on what the object is made from, then extend it by describing how it feels. You could add a spoon, a toy, a straw, cup etc. To start you will have model how it feels e.g. hard, soft, bendy.
Keep safe, have fun!
