Morning Boys and Girls.
We hope that you and your families are well. Please take at look at today's activities. These activities should only take a maximum of 15 minutes. You will need to gage this on your child's attention level. Life skills are just as important e.g. cooking, self care( e.g. getting dressed, undressed, doing up/down zips and buttons, using a knife and fork etc) engaging in play/games with an adult or sibling so please add these skills to your learning.

Phonics Use the game 'Spelling Around the House from CBeebies. Join in and see if you can guess the missing letters. Challenge your child's existing phonic knowledge. Shout out if you know the answers. Drag the missing letter into the space. You can extend this activity by making your own words. Use magnetic letters, tiles etc so your child can put them into place. |

Game 3: You will need to have number cards 1-20 for this task. Use the language 'one more and one less'. Ask you child to lay the numbers out in a line in order. Then ask them to close their eyes as you remove the number. Ask 'what number is missing?' ' It's the number that is one less than...... and one more than...... Place the number back on the line and ask 'What number was one less than?' etc. For my little ones you can recite the numbers as you place them in the line using cards 1-5/1-10/1-15/1-20. Can they count with you. To extend this activity use number cards 1-30 or the 'number square tool' which you can find on Active learn. Can they say which number is two more, two less?
