Smiles all round

Morning Boys and Girls.

It's been lovely seeing you all again. You are all ready to learn and you have brought many smiles to our faces already.

Maths
This week we are settling back in but there's still lots of learning taking place.
We are;
Conserving numbers to 10/20
Counting 0-100
Counting sets of objects/sounds
Locating numbers 0-100 on a number square/number bead string
Chanting number rhymes and exploring number through games.

Literacy
We have started looking at these books through Group Reading. Our youngest children are exploring 'The Three Little Pigs' story sack, while the older children are discussing the story 'Feed The Birds'. Today we even fed the birds with bird seeds. We didn't see the birds come but I'm sure they did!

Phonics 
The sound of the week is 'Dd'
We shall be writing/mark marking
We are recapping on our tricky words
