Below you'll find today's activities. The activities that are set on this web page is to give you ideas. Please pick the ones that suit your child. You don't have to do them all. Life skills and learning through play are just as important. You can link numeracy and literacy skills through your day. e.g. going on walks, making shopping lists, gardening, playing together etc. Please let me know if you you need anything or individual ideas for learning.

I've added a YouTube clip that focuses of fine motor skills, finger and hand manipulation/co-ordination using dough. We do something very similar in class using dough, a disco ball and pop music. Once you have done some of these actions, try to do them to the beat of a favourite pop song.
Game 1: Mirror play: This activity is for the little ones in the class. Look into a rectangle shaped mirror with your child. Place your child at the side of you. This is so your child can be clearly see you and your lip movements. Play making faces and copying movements of the lips and tongue. Introduce sound making in the mirror e.g. d,d,d, mmmm, shhhh. If there is a sound they particularly like making, start with that or you can start with experimenting with animal noises. E.g. roar like a dinosaur, snort like a pig etc.
Game 2: Play the Twirlywoos Spot the difference game below. Spot the difference is a fun game that helps your child to concentrate, think, and learn to notice detail in a picture.
Game 1: Join in with Ferne and Rory count to 10. Throughout your day count objects that you see. E.g. cars, birds in the garden, sausages on your plate etc.
We hope you you enjoy todays tasks.
Keep safe and well,
