We're sure you're all looking forward to a week off (and the extra day, lucky you!!) to recharge those batteries. Even though things are so very different at the moment, we're sure you'll have a tip-top time. Why not try some Autumn sensory activities?

Collect some fallen leaves, sticks, acorns, pine cones and make a gorgeous Autumn work of art...don't forget to take a picture and bring us a copy to put in your book!!

Search through those cupboards and see if you have any 'old' packets of flour/rice/custard powder that you can make marks in. You can always use sand if you have any. Use your fingers, or a stick, or a wooden spoon to create fabulous patterns or write your name.

And don't forget to reuse those leave to make a face...just look at this fab foxy face using a sycamore leaf. Get creative!! Who can make a hedgehog? Or a squirrel...????
Whatever you get up to, make sure to have a funtastic time. Remember to check out the Abacus website for some familiar and brand new reading books. Be safe and well and we'll see you in November. Lots of love from Edwards and Povey xx
