Here is a good use of a toy that you may have had for Christmas or that's at the bottom of the toy box. It's the Pop up Pirate tricky word game. Write words on the swords. Your child has to say the word on the sword before inserting it. This game will work for phonics too. Just write the single phoneme on the sword or simple CVC words. This game incorporates fine motor skills with literacy fun.
Join in with the tricky word song below.
Below I've added I've added a little fun activity which focuses on your child's fine motor and coordination skills. Use different strength bands, bobbles, and tape. Can your child free their toys? Have Fun!
Here is a great activity that you can do together and one that keeps your body healthy. It's taken from the NHS website. Make and eat a pizza face. Copy the link to see full instructions.
Below I've added links to two games, a count and match game and a find the number game.
