Active Challenge Real PE The weather hasn't been great again this week so here's an activity that can take place indoors. Make it into a competition with their siblings. See who can do the most poses and who can hold them the longest!
Blowing Bubbles Blowing bubbles is a great motor mouth activity and a great attention grabber when starting any task with your child. I've added a short clip of how to make a bubbles using a recycled bottle and a sock. If you don't feel creative normal bubbles are great fun too!
Story Time
This week is National Reading Week. You will find a range of books allocated to your child in www.activelearnprimary.co.uk. Alternately you could choose a favourite story or book to read together. Today I've read a mix up fairy tale for you all to share with me. It's called 'Three Pigs and a Gingerbread Man'. Now that you have listened to the story I would like you to gather some toys and create and tell your own match up stories. I want you to be the story tellers! It might be a story of a toy dog and Buzz Light Year or a story with an LOL doll and a teddy bear. Remember to give your story a start... It could start with 'Once Upon a time'... then in the middle you can tell us of some adventures that happen and where, then so we know the story has finished you could say 'The End' . What about preforming your story behind the sofa just like a puppet show? As always we'd love to see what you have done. So please share through an email. |
Keep Safe and have a wonderful weekend.
