| Please pick a few activities to help your child's formation. Remember for the younger learners it's all about experimenting and making marks. You can either use tools such as crayons, pens and paint brushes or just use little fingers! Start by practicing numbers 1-5, 5-10, 10-15, 15-20 and so on. Call out a number, can your child write it down? Provide lots of practice with a range of activities and keep it fun! |
| As above have fun. Here are some handwriting tasks that you can complete through a multi sensory approach. If your child is not at the stage to make letter shapes start with writing patterns e.g. trace straight, zigzag and wiggly lines etc. |

Topic
This term our topic focus is science lead. We will be exploring science elements through fairy tale stories. Our first story is 'The Three Little Pigs'. The pigs used 3 different materials to build their homes: straw, sticks and bricks. Todays challenge is, can you find 5 objects from around the home and name what they are made from? You can simplify this challenge by using a feely bag and by placing the objects in the bag already. Start by placing objects that are made of the same material e.g. plastic. For those younger children and non speakers you will need to model and tell them what the item is. You can ask them to give you an item from a selective 3.
