Over the next 2 weeks our school will be celebrating the Olympics. Each Class/Year Group has chosen a different country to investigate and explore. We have received a message of support from Baroness Tanni Grey.
Tanni Grey Thompson is one of  Britain's most successful Paralympians. She was born in Cardiff and growing up she was determined to find out for herself what she could and could not do. After trying a range of sports Tanni realised at age 13 that Wheelchair Racing was her sport of choice and at 17 she became part of the British Wheelchair Racing Squad.

In Tanni’s first Paralympics in 1988 she won a Bronze medal in the 400m. Her total Paralympic Medal tally is 11 Gold, 4 Silvers and 1 Bronze and added to that 5 Gold, 4 Silver and 3 Bronze medals at World Championships. Over her career, Tanni broke 30 world records on the track. Since retiring from sport Tanni has received numerous awards in recognition of her achievements.

Friday has come around again and we have had so much fun. Today we have spent time outside drawing with the chalks on the ground. We have enjoyed making our own routes around the yard. Well done for transferring your learning into your play!! We also had great fun at our ribbon dance session! This is the YouTube clip that we follow. You can try this at home.
We would like to give Leah a big WOW WEE for her amazing spelling!

We have been notified by the local authority that there has been a problem with the distributor that delivers our milk every day.   Until further notice, we won't have any milk for the children so it will be even more important that they bring in a re-fillable water bottle to school every day.  Many thanks.
