We had lots of fun on World Book Day. We started off the day by listening to 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' and then went on a bear hunt of our own! We listened to and acted out 'Not Now Bernard'. In the afternoon, we tried to guess who was the masked reader, we enjoyed reading books in our book corner and we made bookmarks to take home.
We have had a busy, fun-packed World Book Day! This afternoon, we watched this video and tried to guess who each of the masked readers were. Have a go!
Well done to James M for being this week's home learning champion! He has handed in lots of work on Google Classroom this week, as well as playing Maths games and reading books on Active Learn. Most importantly, James hasn't given up when he has found something tricky. I'm super proud of you James!
Well done to all my home learners - Alisha, Iona, Reggie, Ezme, Martha, Ozzie, Toby, Alfie, Joshua Q, Levi, Rory and Evie for engaging with home learning this week.
Let's visit one of the coldest places on the earth with Andy and go on an Arctic adventure. What animals can you see? Can you move like an Arctic Fox? Have a go!
Are you ready for some yoga? Let's all join in and go on a bear hunt! Some of these moves are really tricky but lots of fun!
Dancing is really good for our health, our bodies and it makes us feel happy. What songs do you like to dance to? Find a big space in your house and dance, dance, dance!
I've put a new game onto Active Learn for you called Toucan Team. You have to estimate which is longer and choose it to win the Tug of War.
I've also given out new reading books for anyone who was running low. Please make a big effort to read books on Active Learn from now until we return to school, to give children as much of a head start as possible. Thanks.
