Who did it?!

So great to see more of you logging onto our Google Classroom this week.
If you haven't already, listen in  to our class story by Anthony Horowitz. There's been a murder and you have to work out who did it before the murderer strikes again! There have been lots of guesses so far- who do you think did it? We only have 2 more chapters to go! You can listen anytime as an audio book (look at Week 1's slides) or press mute and read at your own pace. Will you work out who did it before it's too late!

Fun activity.

Impress your family, friends and teachers with this Kitchen roll magic trick. I've tried to find an activity that you'll already have the things for at home. You can create endless art with this process.

You will need:

Sharpie Pen
Felt Tip Pens - (any should work)
Kitchen Roll Sheets
A Plate
Water
A Jug

Instructions:
You start by folding a sheet of kitchen roll in half. On the top half of your tissue sheet you use the sharpie pen to draw a large, bold picture. You will need a protection under the tissue as the felts and sharpie will go through the tissue. Draw your picture and when you're done, open up the kitchen towel. Inside you will see that your image has came through and is visible. This is the part that you colour in with your normal felts. Then close the kitchen roll, hiding your colouring with the outline only visible.
Using a jug/cup pour a shallow amount of water onto a plate/tray (one without a pattern is best). With your kitchen towel folded over in half carefully place it into the water. Just like magic you will see the outline of your picture fill with beautiful colours.

What will you draw and create?
Please post them in our Google Classroom Stream to share with your class mates.
